The 2013 flagship team of the Oakland Cobras Fastpitch Softball Association, the 16U Cobras, won the Michigan USSSA State Championship on July 14, 2013.
The Cobra Nation congratulates these fantastic athletes on their fifth place finish at the USSSA World Series hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando Florida on August 4.

Oakland Cobra teams experience competitive sanctioned play through ASA, NSA, USSSA, Fastpitch Showdowns and independent College Exposure Tournaments throughout the Midwest including competition in Florida, Nebraska, Georgia, Tennessee and New York.  Over the years many Cobra players have taken their game to the collegiate level.  We are proud of our players representing the game in NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA.  We are also proud of the many players that have taken the lessons learned on the field of sport and have applied them to the competitive world of academics.

Cobra players and parents play a vital role in success of the organization through volunteerism in the Cobra Challenge tournament, youth softball clinics and other community projects. Cobra players benefit from college recruitment seminars, Cobra scholarships and the support of over 100 Cobra families.  We are always looking for dedicated volunteers and softball players.  Please contact a board member for more information.
